In spite of the threat of rain, by race time the sky lightened and racers were treated to a temperate few hours though the Cheekye Fan.
Medals stamped with the new OreCrusher logo were awarded to first, second and third. The award ceremonies were followed by many excellent draw prizes donated by local bike clubs.
